SPORTS AND LEISURE

The hotel features two swimming pools, which can offer hours of swimming. The open-air 400 square metre pool, has a section equipped with water sprays, curtains, fountains, umbrella and Jacuzzi, a segregated section for toddlers and a section for swimming and leisurely activities. There is also an indoor pool, which is heated during the winter months (November to April inclusive) and which offers relaxation throughout the year. Guests can enjoy relaxed sunbathing around the pool and on the lawns, with sunbeds and parasols free of charge.

Exercise is important and Sofianna offers many options for activity. The Gym Room offers facilities for light exercise and jogging can take you round the peninsula, past the light house and the ancient castle, running along the rejuvenating sea side.

Games such as pool table, table tennis, electronic games and a soccer table are available close to the open air pool.

A very large play area for children aged 2 to 13 is spread behind the main complex, equipped with many KOMPAN and other toys, making it probably one of the biggest hotel play grounds in Cyprus.

Volley ball and basket ball facilities are available for those who want to complete and there is space for football in the grounds.

For those who wish to relax, there is a sauna that is operational throughout the year and two Jacuzzis, one indoors and one within the open-air pool.

Residents can surf the web or access their e-mails through terminals at a specially constructed island situated at the reception (under implementation).
